Prakhar Mehta, a class IX student of Delhi Public School, from Udaipur, Rajasthan will witness the Chandrayaan 2 landing with PM. Now DPS Prakhar with PM in ISRO has become a fresh buzz in the city.
Prakhar has begged this achievement who will be welcomed at Sriharikota soon. As per the source information, Chandrayaan 2 landing will take place in Mid of Jan – Feb 2020.
ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) had conducted an online quiz in August 2019 PAN India. It conducts this sort of Online Test every year to unlock the talent from different parts of the country.

Question: How do you feel after knowing you are one of the qualifiers who are going to witness the Satellite Launch at ISRO SRIHARIKOTA?
Answer: ” I feel elated. It is like a dream come true. Watching & witnessing the life launch of the satellite is a golden opportunity. I am very excited & looking forward to the same. ” answered by the star.“
Question: How does the crack of the ISRO online test become a reality?
Answer: Prakhar said that ” Honestly a lot of credit goes to the two-day workshop conducted by Vikram Sarabhai community science center, where we learned a lot about astronomy. Luckily it all happened just a month before the online quiz which really helped me crack the quiz. “
Question: Please share your pattern of study?
Answer: DPS Prakhar replied that ” I am a firm believer and follower of regular studies. I am not an 11th-hour person. This gives me time to play which I think is very important to stay fit. A healthy mind in a healthy body. “
Question: What is your objective in Life?
Answer: “My objective in life is to become a good doctor & a very good human being. The field of research also attracts me a lot. ” a firm and crispy answer from DPS champ Prakhar.
Question: Who you would like to quote as your backbones?
Answer: “My teachers my gurus are the real heroes in shaping up a student’s life. Their teachings & blessings help me scale heights. My parents have always encouraged, motivated and helped me in every possible way. ” star tweeted.

Important Facts about ISRO i.e. Indian Space Research Organisation
ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) is the space agency of the Government of India.
It is a reformed version of INCOSPAR i.e. Indian National Committee for Space Reseach
It was established on 15 August 1969.
The headquarters of ISRO is in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Let’s discover some of the historical glimpses of ISRO.
INCOSPAR was set up in the presence of the then Prime Minister honorable Jawahar Lal Nehru in 1962. On the urge of the veteran Scientist, Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai INCOSPAR was transformed into ISRO in 1969.
It was then under the Department of Atomic Energy. Later on, the government of India set up a Space Commission named as Department of Space in 1972.
ISRO shall also be congratulated for setting up India’s first satellite – Aryabhata. The Soviet Union launched it later on April 19, 1975.

1. ISRO was set up on Independence day, 1969
2. It has a total of 13 centers in PAN India
3. The Board of ANTRIX consists the renowned corporate arms Industrialists namely the veteran Ratan Tata and Jamshyd Godrej
4.ISRO has launched 29 foreign satellites till date.
5. ISRO is among the sixth Space Agency worldwide that is capable of building and launching satellites from its own soil.
6. Mission Mars was one of the cheapest launches of ISRO and it has invested Rs. 450 crore which is just Rs. 12 per km equals to auto-rickshaw fare.
7. India (ISRO) was the first country which has reached the MARS in its first attempt without Fail.
There were few other countries also tried.
El Salvador reached to MARS once but failed. Japan and Russia tried 1 time and could not succeed.
Russia with China tried but failed. US count is 17 where it could fetch success only 12 times.
USSR tried 11 times. 2 times it was a success call whereas 1 time it reached but attempt got failed and 8 times it was a complete failure.
A FUTURE PLAN OF ISRO
Unified Launch Vehicle
Unified Launch Vehicle is a development project of ISRO. The core objective of ISRO behind this project is to an independent Modular Architecture.
It is a single-family launcher and will replace the PSLV, GSLV Mk I/II and GSLV Mk III.
Small Satellite Launch Vehicle
Small Satellite Launch Vehicle is a launch vehicle of ISRO. Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) has completed the design of it on 21 December 2018 at Thumba.
Sriharikota would be the site to launch the maiden flight in the first quarter of 2020.
Indian Human Spaceflight Programme
ISRO created one more dynamic program, the Human Spaceflight Programme in 2007. Thus set up to develop the technology to launch the crewed orbit spacecraft into low earth orbit.
The first crewed flight is planned in December 2021 with a spacecraft called Gaganyaan on a GSLV Mk-III rocket.
Reusable Launch Vehicle
The vehicle is India’s first uncrewed or unmanned flying testbed. ISRO created it and Satish Dhawan Space Centre was the launch site.
It completed its first test flight on 23 May 2016. The final version is still under process and will take 15 years to come in the final shape.
The man behind ISRO – Dr. Vikram Sarabhai
The father of Indian Space Program – Dr. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai was born on 12 August 1919.
The visionary was a physicist and astronomer. He is the mind of India who initiated space research and developed the nuclear power of India.
Dr. Vikram urged for ISRO set up only when he was just 28, makes him spectacular. He completed his education from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and later on went to the University of Cambridge for higher studies.
Unknown facts about Dr. Vikram Sarabhai i.e. the Father of Indian Space
- Aryabhatt was the brainchild of Dr. Vikram.
2. His unstoppable efforts brought the television existence in India.
3. The knight of Father of India’s Space Program was given to him.
4. Dr. Sarabhai is the reason behind Aryabhata.
5. To turn the dream of a prosperous society into reality, he had set up many renowned institutions namely, Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad, Darpan Academy for Performing Arts, Ahmedabad, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruvananthapuram and many more.
6. He founded the second IIM of India i.e. Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad along with Kasturbhai Lalbhai in 1961.
7. He was honored with Padma Bhushan in 1966 and Padma Vibhushan in 1972 (after his demise) for his commendable work
Who is K. Sivan
Kailasavadivoo Sivan is the current chairman of ISRO. He was born on April 14, 1957.
Earlier he was serving as the director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Center and Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre.
62 years old intelligent keeps on focusing on gaining continuous excellence. He has played a very crucial several successful creation and launch of Satellites.
Son of a Farmer did his earlier schooling from Tamil medium Primary School in Mela Sarakkalvilai Village and later in Vallankumaranvilai in Kanyakumari district. He is the first graduate from his family.
Later on, he graduated in engineering from Madras Institute of Technology and honored with a doctoral degree in aerospace engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2006.
He is truly an inspiration for Millennials and Gen Z.
Latest Updates to take part in ISRO Summer Camp:
Student of class 9th or above standards who have a keen interest in science and space, he/she can take part in a summer camp organized by ISRO, Govt of India.
This camp is organized under the title YUVIKA from May 11- May 22 at 4 centers – Bengaluru, Ahemdabad, Shillong, and Thiruvananthapuram.
